NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF DEVELOPMENT IMPACT FEES
PURSUANT TO GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 66000 et seq. AND AB 602
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on May 19, 2025, the Board of Directors of the Del Puerto Health Care District adopted Resolution No. 2025-11, thereby approving and adopting a schedule of Development Impact Fees for new residential and nonresidential development projects located within the jurisdictional boundaries of the District.
This action was taken in accordance with the Mitigation Fee Act (Government Code § 66000 et seq.) and Assembly Bill 602 (Chapter 347, Statutes of 2021), which require that all development impact fees be supported by a Nexus Study that demonstrates a reasonable relationship between the fees imposed and the burden created by the development. The adopted fees will support infrastructure and facility needs identified in the District’s 2025 Development Impact Fee Nexus Study, including:
- Urgent and primary care clinic space
- Behavioral health center capacity
- Ambulance and EMS facilities
- Senior assisted living, memory care, and long-term care infrastructure
Effective Date: The adopted impact fees will take effect in compliance with Government Code § 65913.2.
Purpose and Use of Fees: The purpose of the fees is to mitigate the impact of new development on the District’s ability to provide essential health care services. The fees will be used to fund capital improvements and facility expansions needed to serve new growth in the Patterson area.
Nexus Study Availability: A copy of the 2025 Development Impact Fee Nexus Study, which includes all required findings per Government Code § 66001 and AB 602 (including proportionality analysis, description of existing deficiencies, and a fee calculation methodology), is available for public review at:
