Join the Del Puerto Health Care District Board of Directors!

Are you a district resident (opening in Zone 4 - see below) with a passion for healthcare and a desire to make a difference in your local community? We have an exciting opportunity for you! The Del Puerto Health Care District is looking for a dedicated individual to join our Board of Directors and help shape the future of healthcare services in our community.

About Us:

The Del Puerto Health Care District is committed to providing high-quality healthcare services to the residents of the West Side. We oversee essential healthcare services, including the Patterson District Ambulance and the Del Puerto Health Center. Recently, we expanded our services by introducing Tuesday and Thursday urgent care hours, and now we need your input to continue improving and expanding our healthcare offerings.

As a board member, you will have a unique opportunity to influence the development and direction of local healthcare services. Your input and ideas will help us enhance the quality of care we provide to our community and ensure that our healthcare facilities are accessible to all who need them.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with fellow board members to make important decisions about healthcare services and facilities.
  • Provide strategic guidance to improve the operations and outreach of the Patterson District Ambulance and Del Puerto Health Center.
  • Advocate for the healthcare needs of our community and work towards ensuring that everyone has access to quality care.
  • Participate in regular meetings to discuss and plan initiatives to benefit our residents' health and well-being.

Qualifications:

We are looking for dedicated individuals who meet the following criteria:

  • Must be a resident of District Zone 4 (see purple area on map below).
  • Passion for healthcare and a strong commitment to improving community health.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Willingness to dedicate time and effort to attend board meetings and engage in healthcare-related initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR OFFICE

Health Care District Director: The elective officers of a local health care district shall be a board of health care directors consisting of five members, each of whom shall be a registered voter residing in the specific election district. Health & Safety Code 32100
